The practice of Tonglen involves all of the Six Perfections:
    giving
    ethics
    patience
    joyous effort
    concentration
    &
    wisdom

These are the practices of a Bodhisattva.

Breathe in pain and suffering,
Breathe out happiness, peace and success
to all sentient beings.
